The management of WhitMar believes
there are tremendous opportunities to find significant
natural gas reserves in the continental United States
where the synergies and infrastructure are in place
to make reserve discoveries readily marketable. With
a staff of experienced explorationists and with the
help of technical consultants, the company's strategy
in generating and developing its prospects is based
on the following guidelines:
- concentrate in proven natural gas provinces
- utilize the most advanced seismic and interpretation
techniques to reduce exploration and development
risk, which allows us to develop prospects with
"major company" technology
- pursue shale gas prospects with multiple drilling locations
where a geologic concept can be proven and repeatedly
exploited
- seek control of the land (leasehold) to control
timing and quality of operations
